A Convenient Encounter
The Unexpected Guests
Paula sighed as she trudged through the door, her heels clicking against the hardwood floor. She didn't have the energy to deal with anything else today. Her eyes were drawn to the two tiny men on her kitchen counter. They didn't seem to notice her, lost in their own conversation. She recognized them as friends of her ex-boyfriend, Paul. He had vanished without a trace a month ago, leaving behind only whispers and rumors.
These men were here looking for answers, but they didn't expect to find themselves in this predicament. Their eyes widened as they realized they were shrinking, growing smaller by the second. Paula couldn't help but smile as she activated the home security system from her phone, sending the gas through the ventilation grids. They struggled against their miniscule bodies, trying desperately to escape.
A Shared Secret
Paula watched with amusement as the men shrank down to the size of toys. Her ex-boyfriend had been cheating on her, and she found out when she came home to find him shrunken and helpless on her bed. It was a shock at first, but she soon realized she had a newfound power over him. She picked him up between her fingers, carrying him like a doll.
Now, she had these men in the same position as her ex-boyfriend. They wouldn't be leaving without experiencing what it was like to be at her mercy. Paula grabbed a pair of tweezers and picked up one of the men, examining him closely. "You know," she said, running her finger over his tiny body, "I've missed playing with you guys."
Breakfast Companions
She placed the man on a plate and poured him a glass of milk. He looked up at her with fear in his eyes as she leaned over him, her face looming large over his tiny form. "Don't worry," she whispered, "I won't let anything happen to you. I just need someone to keep me company while I eat breakfast."
Paula sat down at the table, her phone buzzing with notifications from the security system. The men on the counter watched as she took a bite of toast, their eyes widening as they realized what was happening. They were about to experience the same fate as her ex-boyfriend.
As they shrank even further, Paula picked up another one of the men and placed him on the table beside her. He trembled as he looked up at her, his eyes filled with terror. But Paula just smiled, her lips curling into a sinister grin.
"Welcome to my world," she said softly, her voice echoing in the silent room.
