Quickie at the Park
CHAPTER 1: THE WATCHED WOMAN
As the sun set over the park, Eli strolled along the winding pathways. She felt eyes on her back, a prickling sensation that sent shivers down her spine. The atmosphere seemed to thicken, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. It was unsettling, to say the least.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she quickened her pace, glancing over her shoulder every few seconds. The trees swayed in the gentle breeze, casting eerie shadows that played with her mind. She fought the rising panic, telling herself it was just paranoia.
But then she heard it—a rustling in the bushes. She froze, her breath catching in her throat. Was it nothing, or was she being stalked? Eli's heart hammered against her ribcage as she slowly turned around.
And that's when she saw them—little men hiding behind the trees, their faces contorted with excitement as they watched her every move. Eli's blood boiled with fury. How dare they invade her privacy? How dare they make her feel so violated?
Without hesitation, she stomped towards them, her eyes blazing with anger. They didn't stand a chance against her fury. One by one, she crushed them underfoot, relishing in the satisfying squelch of their bodies giving way under her weight.
As the last of them crumpled to the ground, Eli stood over them, breathing hard. It was over...for now. But she knew this wouldn't be the last time she felt their eyes on her. And she vowed that next time, she'd be ready for them.
