Best Friends Forever - Leks (OV with english subtitles)
Title: The Agonizing Choice: Life or Death for Best Friends Forever
Leks, a woman of immense strength and stature, paces restlessly around the house. She is distracted, her mind preoccupied with the dilemma at hand. Her beloved companion, Pablo, is lying on the floor, barely conscious. Despite his small size, Pablo has always been Leks's rock, her confidante, her best friend. But now, their bond is about to be put to the ultimate test.
Unbeknownst to Leks, she had accidentally stepped on Pablo, crushing him beneath her mighty foot. As she walks around the room, she doesn't notice the crumpled form on the floor until she hears a faint whimper. Leks freezes in horror when she realizes what she's done. She drops to her knees beside Pablo, her heart racing with fear and guilt.
Tears well up in Leks's eyes as she desperately tries to soothe Pablo, begging him to forgive her for the unintentional act of violence. But Pablo is in too much pain to listen. He demands that she call a doctor immediately, but Leks can't bring herself to do it. The medical expenses for accidents involving reduced-size people like Pablo are exorbitantly high, and Leks simply can't afford them.
Leks explains her predicament to Pablo, promising that she would do anything to make things right. She hesitates, knowing the only way to end Pablo's suffering is to end his life. But she can't bring herself to do it. Just as she's about to make a decision, Pablo pleads with her not to treat him like an insect or a burden. He demands that she call a doctor, regardless of the cost.
Leks stares at Pablo, her mind racing with conflicting emotions. She loves him too much to let him suffer, but she can't afford to lose him either. Just as she's about to make a decision, Pablo crawls towards her, determined to escape. It's a futile effort, though, as Leks's massive frame blocks his every move.
With a heavy heart, Leks lowers her foot and gently places it on Pablo's body. She gives him a moment to say his last words before ending his life. Pablo asks her to bring his remains to his family, hoping that they'll understand and forgive her. Leks freezes, unsure of what to do next. She can't bear the thought of her best friend's family turning against her, blaming her for their son's tragic end.
In a moment of despair, Leks confesses that her plan was to flush Pablo's remains down the toilet. Pablo is stunned, speechless, unable to believe his friend would even consider such a thing. Leks tries to justify her actions, explaining that she couldn't handle the guilt of knowing his family might find out about his death and blame her.
As they sit there, both lost in their own thoughts, Leks has an idea. Perhaps the best option to avoid any kind of trace would be to eat Pablo. She knows it's cruel, but she also knows it's the only way to ensure his body isn't found. Reluctantly, Pablo agrees, and Leks swallows him whole, feeling the warmth of his flesh dissolve in her mouth.
As she savors the last remnants of Pablo, Leks promises herself that she'll never forget him, never stop loving him, and never put another friend through such an unimaginable ordeal. And so, with a heavy heart, Leks says goodbye to her best friend forever, knowing that their bond will live on, even in the darkest of times.
