Cali and the Borrowers CL

Cali Logan, the infamous lawyer known for her ruthless tactics and unscrupulous methods, was determined to expand her empire. Her eyes were set on an old, dilapidated house that stood in the way of her new hotel project. She strolled through the derelict property, her heels clicking against the floorboards, a smirk playing on her lips. The air around her was heavy with anticipation as she imagined how it would feel to tear down this eyesore and replace it with something grand.

Her gaze fell upon a dusty old trunk resting in the corner. Curiosity piqued, she walked over and lifted the lid, revealing a stack of yellowed documents. Her heart raced as she sifted through them, finally laying eyes on the missing will. Her fingers trembled with excitement as she picked it up, running her eyes over the words written on the page. With a triumphant laugh, she ripped it in half and tossed the pieces aside.

Just then, she heard a faint voice calling out from within the walls. The borrowers! She thought, her face contorting into a twisted grin. They thought they could stop her? They were nothing more than insects in her eyes. She stepped closer to the crumbling wall, her heels digging into the rotten floorboards. Suddenly, a small hand reached out from the hole, gripping her ankle tightly.

With a yelp of surprise, Cali jerked her leg back, sending the tiny creature flying through the air. It landed with a pitiful thud, its tiny body shuddering in pain. Without hesitation, she stomped on it, grinding it into the dirt. The other borrowers watched in horror as their friend was crushed under her foot, their eyes filled with terror.

"How cute," she sneered, "tiny people thinking they could stop me from becoming filthy rich." She laughed maniacally, the sound echoing through the deserted house. With a flick of her wrist, she tossed the rest of the borrowers aside like they were nothing more than insignificant trash.

Moments later, the contractors arrived, their tools clanging against the walls as they entered the building. Cali smiled serenely, her heart filled with anticipation. "Destroy it," she commanded, gesturing towards the house. "And make sure there's nothing left standing." She watched as the huge machines began to tear down the walls, reducing the once-grand house to a pile of rubble.

As the dust settled, she stood triumphant amidst the ruins, her eyes shining with excitement. "This is only the beginning," she whispered to herself, her voice echoing through the emptiness. With every step she took, she could feel the weight of her ambition pushing her forward, fueling her relentless pursuit of power and wealth.
