A Towering Friendship
Ashton glided into the room, her presence towering over everyone in it. She was there for you and your friends, her eyes searching the room for your tiny forms. Her footfalls were heavy and deliberate, as if she weighed a thousand pounds.
Your heart raced as you watched her approach, knowing what was to come. She stepped on the first friend without a second thought, using them as a stepping stone to reach you. The look of terror on their face was almost too much to bear.
Ashton paused, seemingly deciding whether to continue crushing or not. Your friend underneath her squirmed helplessly, their cries of pain echoing in your ears. You couldn't help but scream out in horror, begging for her to stop.
But she didn't. Ashton took another step, crushing another friend beneath her immense weight. You watched in horror as they were flattened like a pancake, their screams muffled by her foot.
Finally, her gaze fell upon you. You felt like a bug yourself, shivering in fear under her gaze. "You almost look like a tiny person," she said, her voice deep and amused. But your relief was short-lived; she didn't spare you simply because you looked like a tiny person.
Ashton's foot descended towards you, and there was nothing you could do but watch in helpless terror. You felt your body being crushed under her weight, the breath forced from your lungs. The pain was unbearable, but at least you were still alive.
She stared down at you, a small smile playing on her lips. "You're not so tough after all, are you?" she taunted, her voice ringing in your ears. And then, without warning, she lifted her foot and stomped down again.
You felt like your insides were being crushed, your bones shattering under the weight of her foot. But even through the agony, you couldn't help but feel a strange sense of awe. She was a goddess among mortals, and you were simply a tiny, insignificant insect in her presence.
Ashton leaned down, her face close to yours. "You know," she whispered, her breath hot against your skin, "you're not the first to underestimate me." And with that, she stepped off you, leaving you half-crushed and gasping for air.
You watched in horror as she walked away, her immense form blocking out the sun. Your two friends lay still, their bodies flattened and lifeless beneath her. Your heart throbbed in your chest as you struggled to catch your breath.
Ashton was a friend... until the end. And now, you were just another tiny casualty in her wake.
