Honest Lies - Blondie Fesser & Maria Riot (OV with english subtitles)
As the scene opens, Blondie Fesser is pacing frantically around her boyfriend's living room. She's usually one to stick to her guns, but this time, she's starting to doubt her decision. Recently, she'd reluctantly agreed to play along with his fantasy of being reduced in size, and now they're lost. She's convinced she's either crushed him or he's just missing. Either way, she feels like she's in over her head.
Just then, there's a knock at the door. Blondie's best friend, Maria Riot, has arrived. She rushes in and tries to comfort Blondie, who's clearly distraught. They begin searching the room, but it's clear that neither of them knows what they're looking for. As they continue their search, Maria notices something small and insignificant hidden behind some spice jars. It's a shrunken person, only not the one they were looking for. It's a girl.
Maria plays it cool and pretends not to notice anything out of the ordinary. After all, she doesn't want to alarm Blondie any more than she already is. As she continues to search, the shrunken girl admits that she's been seeing Blondie's boyfriend for a while now. She came last night to test this odd fantasy of his and ended up shrinking both of them. She doesn't understand anything that's happening, but she implores Maria for help.
Maria agrees to help the shrunken girl, but first, she needs to know where David is hiding. The shrunken girl doesn't hesitate and gives away his hiding spot. With this information in hand, Maria confronts the little woman directly. Hey, how about you take this girl home and I stay looking for David? Blondie believes she can make the tiny woman talk and tell where her boyfriend is, so she takes the shrunken woman with her. Little does she know that her best friend already has that information.
Now, Maria is left alone with Blondie's boyfriend. No one knows what happened, no one knows where he is, and no one knows where he will remain forever. As the tension mounts, it's clear that this isn't just another adventure for these two best friends. This time, they're dealing with consequences they never could have imagined.
