Chapter 6: Diminishing Away
Tim's eyes slowly fluttered open, his heart racing as he took in his surroundings. The hotel room was a blur of vibrant colors and chaos, the aftermath of their drunken escapade still lingering in the air. Groaning softly, he rolled off the bed and onto the floor, trying to distance himself from the looming figure of his step-mom.
As she stirred awake, however, his fears were quickly realized. Her gaze fell upon him, cold and calculating, and he couldn't help but tremble in fear. "What are you doing on the floor?" she growled, her voice thick with menace. "Get back in bed where you belong."
Reluctantly, he climbed back onto the mattress, his entire body shaking with terror. He knew that any attempt to escape now would only lead to severe punishments, so he remained still and silent, praying for the morning to come. As the sun began to rise, casting its warm rays across the room, Tim steeled himself for the inevitable confrontation that awaited him.
Little did he know that his step-mom's hungover state would make her even more unpredictable and aggressive. She stormed into the bathroom, demanding that he prepare her a shower while she continued to drink. Tim complied, his hands shaking as he tried to focus on his task.

But as they left the hotel, Tim found himself in an even more precarious situation. His step-mom's towering figure loomed over him, her heels clicking menacingly against the pavement.
