Nurse Lenna's heart raced as she imagined the possibilities. "And what do you plan to use it on, Doctor?" she asked, her voice hushed with anticipation.
Dr. Morgan grinned broadly, revealing crooked yellow teeth. "Oh, I have something very special planned for you, my dear Nurse Lux," he replied, his grin turning predatory. Before Nurse Lenna could respond, Dr. Morgan flipped a switch on the device. A hum filled the air as a beam of bright light shot out, enveloping her in its glow.
