As if in slow motion, Kadia lowered the spoon into her mouth, feeling the warmth of her breath envelop her prey. She savored the taste of their terror as she slowly chewed, swallowed, and repeated the process over and over again. Each time, her roommate shrank just a little bit more inside her.
Finally, with a satisfied sigh, Kadia swallowed the last bite of her meal. Her roommate was nowhere to be seen.
