In scene four, we see our protagonist stuck on a piece of tape, unable to move. His stepmother walks over and casually plants her sole on top of him, sticking him to her foot like a piece of artwork. She rests her feet on the table, showing off her newest conquest. She plays with her toes, pressing them into his body, and even using her heel to grind him into the table.
Eventually, she feels something odd and pulls him off her foot. To his surprise, she knows exactly what's going on. She reveals that this is their little secret, and she's going to start having fun with him more often. With a wicked grin, she takes a piece of chewed gum out of her mouth and plasters it to the bottom of her flip-flop. Then, she presses him firmly into the glob, ensuring he's stuck there for good.
As she stands up, she squishes him one last time, ensuring he stays put. With a smirk, she walks out of the room, leaving our protagonist alone once again. The story ends with an ominous sense of foreboding, as we wonder what other surprises his stepmother has in store for him.
