As she watched, the couple began to scurry away from her glare. But Blondie was quicker; she pounced, trapping them between her fingers. They were terrified, their tiny hearts pounding against her palm. She tried to calm them down, promising she wouldn't hurt them. But the girl was hysterical, convinced Blondie was their enemy.
An Offer and a Threat
Blondie had a plan. She needed to find the rest of their community to return them safely. But the boy was resistant, protecting his love. She knew she had to be firm. "Tell me where they are," she said, her voice cold as ice. "Or I'll crush your girlfriend right here."
