Awakening the Beast
In the dimly lit castle, Nadja, a ravenous vampire, stirs from her slumber. Her fangs elongate as she reaches for the blood bag on her nightstand. The room is silent except for the rhythmic sucking sound of her draining it dry. Suddenly, her phone rings, and she growls in irritation.
The Call
"Guillermo!" she snaps into the phone, "Where is that pathetic human you promised me?" Her voice echoes off the walls, and the tiny figure standing on a chair in the corner trembles in fear.
The camera slowly zooms out to reveal Nadja's towering frame, dwarfing the tiny chair beneath her. She is completely unaware of the human's presence as she continues her tirade against Guillermo, demanding to know why he hasn't brought her a proper meal.
The Intruder
As she finishes her call with Guillermo, she notices another figure on the line, this time it's Laszlo. "Laszlo, what do you want?" she asks impatiently. "I was just calling to see if you needed any help finding that pathetic excuse for a human," he responds coolly.
Nadja rolls her eyes and hangs up on him, frustrated with their incompetence. She takes another sip of blood and looks around the room, sensing something unusual. Suddenly, she feels something small and alive underneath her. She gasps in surprise and sits up straight, her eyes widening in confusion.
The Discovery
As she carefully inspects the area beneath her, she sees the tiny human, frozen in fear. Nadja's eyes narrow, and she leans in closer, studying him. She reaches out a finger to poke him, and he flinches away, causing her to chuckle darkly. "You're tiny," she says, her voice dripping with amusement.
The tiny human trembles in fear, unsure of what to say or do. Nadja smirks and stands up, towering over him. She moves closer, her fangs glistening in the dim light. "You should be thankful," she says, her voice low and menacing. "I could easily crush you like a bug."
The Demand
She leans down, her face just inches from his, her breath hot on his skin. "And I expect you to return to your normal size," she demands. The tiny human shivers, unable to meet her gaze. Nadja sighs impatiently and stands up, her long black dress swirling around her legs.
"Fine," she says, sounding unconvinced. "I'll just have to make do with what I have." With that, she turns her back on him and begins to pace, her mind racing with thoughts of what she could do to this tiny creature.
The Reckoning
After what seems like hours, Nadja stops pacing and turns back to face the tiny human. She narrows her eyes and walks slowly towards him, her footsteps echoing in the silence. The tiny human trembles, unsure of what's coming next.
Suddenly, Nadja reaches down and scoops him up in one swift motion. She holds him up to eye level, studying him carefully. "I don't think you understand," she says, her voice low and threatening. "I'm going to eat you now."
With that, she opens her mouth wide, revealing her razor-sharp fangs. The tiny human closes his eyes, bracing for the pain that is sure to come. But as Nadja's fangs descend towards him, something unexpected happens. She hesitates, her eyes filled with confusion and uncertainty.
For a moment, time stands still. Then, slowly, Nadja's mouth closes, and she sets the tiny human back down on the chair. She takes a deep breath and backs away, her eyes never leaving him. "I don't understand," she murmurs, shaking her head. "Why can't I do it?"
The tiny human remains frozen on the chair, terrified but alive. As the door slams shut behind Nadja, he lets out a shaky breath, unsure of what to make of this unexpected turn of events. In this dark and twisted world of the vampires, nothing is ever as it seems.
