Shrunken Boyfriend's Big Surprise
As you step off the plane, your heart races with anticipation. You haven't seen your girlfriend in months due to your new job, but you're finally here to surprise her with your shrunken form. Thanks to a new shrinking technology being trialed where you live, long-haul travel is now affordable, and you can't wait to see the look on her face when she opens the package.
Walking through the bustling airport, you notice a distinct smell of lavender lingering around you. It's a familiar scent - your girlfriend's favorite perfume. Your steps quicken as you make your way towards the exit, eager to be reunited with her.
Outside the terminal, a taxi pulls up, and you climb in, giving the driver your girlfriend's address. As you take a deep breath and let it out slowly, you can't help but feel nervous. As you unlock the door, you can feel her eyes boring into you, full of curiosity and confusion. You turn around, taking her hand in yours, and lead her into the room where you've set up the surprise.
"Close your eyes, sweetheart," you say, your heart pounding in your chest.
She hesitates for a moment, then complies, her breathing heavy. You can feel the tension building in the room as you count down from three.
"Three... two... one!"
You pull away the cover, revealing the package sitting on the table. Your girlfriend's eyes widen even further as she sees what's inside - a tiny box, no bigger than a matchbox, with your name on it.
"What is it?" she whispers, reaching out to touch it.
You take her hand, guiding it towards the box. "It's a shrunken version of myself," you say, your voice barely above a whisper. "I sent myself to surprise you."
She gasps, her eyes wide with disbelief, and then she starts to laugh, the tension in the room quickly dissolving into excitement. She picks up the box, her fingers tracing over the tiny details of your shrunken form.
"This is... incredible," she breathes, looking up at you with a mixture of awe and love in her eyes. "Thank you, baby."
And in that moment, as you watch her delight in your surprise, you know that no matter what challenges may come your way, you'll always find a way to be together.
