Promoted To Pet
The air around Sasha's office seemed thick with tension, and a nervous energy pulsed through the room. Employees looked up from their desks, exchanging nervous glances as Sasha, their beloved boss, stepped into her office. She called one of her top performers into her office for a private meeting—the same person who had been working tirelessly to keep the branch afloat amidst recent company restructuring.
As the door closed behind him, Sasha's demeanor shifted from stern to sympathetic. She explained that due to unforeseen circumstances, the branch was being dissolved, and unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save it. Her voice cracked as she told him how much she valued his hard work and dedication, and how sorry she was to see him go.
Desperate for a chance to stay on, the employee begged her for any opportunity to prove himself. That's when Sasha revealed her plan. She wanted him to stay—not as an employee, but as her personal pet. He would be shrunk down to a tiny 5 inches tall and given tasks to perform that would please her in any way she desired. In return, he would have a place in her home and her heart.
Astounded but intrigued, the employee agreed. He had never been so bold, but the thought of staying by Sasha's side was too tempting to resist. She smiled warmly, revealing the miniaturization device she had been hiding behind her desk. With a flick of her wrist, he felt himself shrinking down into a tiny version of himself—a new reality beginning to set in.
As Sasha's little pet, he had an immense sense of gratitude and anticipation. He was eager to please his new mistress and ready for whatever tasks she had in store. With a twinkle in her eye, Sasha instructed him to follow her home, where she had a special project waiting for him.
