A Tranquil Morning
As you opened your eyes, you took in the peaceful scene around you. Birds chirped outside your window, their sweet melodies filling the air. You smiled contentedly, snuggling deeper into your comforter as you savored the quiet solitude of the morning.
A Sudden Intrusion
Suddenly, there was a loud thud from somewhere nearby. Your heart skipped a beat as you sat up straight, listening intently for any further sounds. The room remained eerily quiet, but you couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that something wasn't quite right.
