"Are you trying to get squashed?" She chuckled, her amusement growing. "That's what'll happen if you're not careful around here... I might not even notice you underfoot."
Lifting the tiny creature closer, she studied it with a mixture of fascination and hunger in her eyes. The power she wielded over this insignificant being was intoxicating, and she couldn't help but savor the moment.
"Good job," she finally said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "I'm very observant. When I want to make you suffer, I'll delight in it and take my time."
