Sayuri was a Japanese actress in her late twenties. She had been working in the industry for nearly a decade, but it wasn't until recently that she had gained widespread recognition. Her breakout role was in a horror movie where she played a vengeful spirit who possessed men and forced them to commit heinous crimes. The movie was controversial, but it was also a huge commercial success.
As a result of her newfound fame, Sayuri found herself in demand for all sorts of projects. All she knew was that she had to try and stop herself before she destroyed everything in her path.
