Astraea-r - Late for Work

It was a bright, sunny morning as I made my way down the busy city street. The usual hustle and bustle of people rushing to work filled the air, but I couldn't help but feel out of place amidst the towering skyscrapers and endless streams of suits. I was already running late for work, my heels clicking against the pavement as I tried to keep up with the crowd. My nerves were frayed from the night before, and the thought of facing my boss was enough to make me break out in a cold sweat. I just hoped that I wouldn't be late...again.

As I hurried along, I couldn't help but notice how small everyone else seemed. In my line of work, I was used to standing out, but today, it felt more like I was sticking out like a sore thumb. My legs were long and toned, encased in a tight black dress that hugged every curve. My breasts were massive, straining against the confines of my bra, threatening to spill out at any moment. And at almost seven feet tall, everyone else seemed dwarfed by my presence. It was both an asset and a curse in this industry.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket, causing me to jump. It was an ominous reminder that time was running out. I quickened my pace, weaving through the crowd as best I could. Finally, I arrived at my office building, panting heavily from the exertion. Grabbing my ID out of my bag, I made my way towards the security desk, trying to maintain some semblance of professionalism despite how flustered I was feeling. The guard looked up at me, his eyes widening slightly at the sight of me. He cleared his throat, looking me up and down before handing back my ID.

"Good morning, Miss," he managed to say, his voice cracking slightly. I nodded curtly, trying to hide my growing impatience. I just wanted to get to my office and get this day started. As I made my way towards the elevators, I could feel eyes on me - some fascinated, some terrified, and some filled with desire. It was a familiar feeling, but it didn't make it any less uncomfortable.

Finally, I reached my floor and stepped out of the elevator. Walking down the long, empty hallway towards my office, I could feel the weight of the world bearing down on me. The thought of explaining why I was late again sent a shiver down my spine. As I approached my door, I took a deep breath, steeled myself, and opened it. And there she was - my boss, sitting at her desk, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Well, well, well," she said, raising an eyebrow at me. "Look who decided to finally show up for work." There was a trace of amusement in her voice, but I could tell she was also annoyed. I forced myself to hold her gaze, trying to hide the fear that was threatening to overwhelm me. "Close the door behind you, please." Her voice was clipped, businesslike, but there was an undercurrent of tension that I couldn't ignore.

I did as she asked, closing the door behind me and trying to calm my racing heart. As I turned back to face her, I couldn't help but notice how small she looked compared to me. Her desk seemed miniature under her imposing presence. "I'm sorry I'm late, ma'am," I said, keeping my tone as neutral as possible. "There was an accident on the way here, and I had to wait for a while." It was a half-truth, but it was all I could think of on the spot.

She studied me for a moment, her eyes narrowing. "An accident, you say?" she echoed, her voice laced with skepticism. "Well, I hope you have a good explanation for why you're always late." Her tone left no room for excuses, and I could feel myself shrinking under her gaze. I swallowed hard, trying to find the words to defend myself. But before I could say anything else, she spoke again, her voice softening slightly. "Never mind that for now. We'll discuss it at a later time."

The sudden change in tone took me off guard. Was she...sympathetic? I couldn't tell. All I knew was that I needed to focus on my work and try to regain her trust. "Of course, ma'am," I replied, my voice quivering slightly. "Is there anything specific you'd like me to work on?" She studied me for another moment before nodding curtly. "Yes, I have something for you. Sit down and let me show you what it is."

Relieved that she hadn't immediately fired me, I hurried over to my desk and took a seat. She opened a folder on her computer and began scrolling through the pages, her finger hovering over the keyboard. After a few moments, she turned to me and smiled, albeit somewhat grimly. "Here it is," she said, pointing to a large document on the screen. "This is your first assignment." My heart sank as I read the details of the project. It was ambitious, to say the least, and I wondered how long it would take me to complete it given my current situation.

But I didn't dare voice my concerns. Instead, I nodded grimly and promised to do my best. As I began to work on the project, I couldn't help but feel the weight of my giantess status looming over me. It was both a blessing and a curse in this industry, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was constantly walking on eggshells around here. But for now, I focused on the task at hand, determined to prove myself to my boss and make up for my tardiness.

As the day wore on, I found myself growing more and more exhausted. My enormous size made even the simplest tasks seem arduous, and the constant attention from my coworkers didn't help matters either. By the time I finally left work, I was ready to collapse from sheer exhaustion. As I made my way down the street once again, I couldn't help but wonder when I would finally be able to relax. But for now, I had to focus on getting through tomorrow - and the next day, and the day after that. Because in this industry, there was no room for excuses – only results.
