Just Desserts
(EldritchGTS)

The small town of River's End was known for its quaint charm and picturesque settings, but it was about to experience something entirely unexpected. Late at night, under the cover of darkness, a strange storm approached the town's outskirts. The sky was filled with a peculiar lightning that flickered in a rhythm that seemed almost otherworldly. The storm seemed almost alive as it pulsed and throbbed, casting an eerie glow on the town below.

Inside one of the town's bakeries, a youthful woman named Sarah was closing up for the night. She hummed to herself as she wiped down the countertops, unaware of the approaching storm. Suddenly, there was a deafening boom of thunder that shook the building, causing Sarah to jump in fright. The power went out, leaving her in complete darkness. She felt around for a flashlight when she heard a voice calling out to her from the back room.

"Sarah, are you there?" It was an old friend of hers, a man named Max who had returned to town after years of being away. He sounded frightened, and Sarah could hear something large and heavy moving around in the back room. Curiosity getting the better of her, she slowly made her way towards the source of the noise, fumbling for a light switch along the way.

Just as she entered the room, she was struck by a blinding flash of lightning. The room was filled with an otherworldly glow, casting bizarre shadows on the walls. In the center of the room stood a giantess, towering over Sarah and the bakery. The giantess was ethereal, almost translucent, and was surrounded by a strange energy that seemed to emanate from her very being.

Max cowered in fear behind the giantess, his eyes wide with terror. Sarah was frozen in place, unable to move or speak. The giantess turned towards them, her eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. She spoke in a voice that seemed to echo through the bakery, filling every corner with her words. "I am here for my just desserts," she said. "And you two shall be my witnesses."

Sarah felt a chill run down her spine as the giantess stepped towards her. She tried to back away, but there was nowhere to go. The giantess reached out with a single finger, and before Sarah could react, she was picked up off the ground and held aloft like a doll. The giantess's finger felt cold and slimy against Sarah's skin, and she writhed helplessly in its grip.

"What have you done to deserve such a fate?" the giantess asked, her voice booming through the bakery. Max shook his head, terrified to speak. "Then perhaps I shall ask you something else," she said, turning her attention back to Sarah. "Do you enjoy the taste of sweets?"

With that, the giantess lowered Sarah to the ground and stepped towards her. Sarah felt herself being wrapped in a warm, sticky substance that coated her entire body. She struggled against her bonds, but they held firm. The giantess smiled down at her, her eyes glowing brighter than ever. "Don't worry, my little one," she said. "You'll enjoy every bite."

And with that, the giantess opened her mouth wide, revealing a massive maw filled with jagged teeth. Sarah screamed as she was engulfed by the giantess's mouth, felt herself being slowly consumed by the sticky substance. As she was swallowed whole, Sarah could feel the giantess's tongue sliding against her skin, sending shivers down her spine.

Max watched in horror as his friend was devoured before his eyes. He didn't know what to do, where to go. He could only stand there and watch as the giantess turned her attention back to him. "What about me?" he whispered, his voice trembling.

The giantess chuckled, a low rumble that shook the bakery. "You, my sweet little man, will be my dessert as well," she said. "But not just yet. First, I have a little gift for this town." And with that, the giantess lifted the bakery off the ground, crushing it under her massive hand like a child's toy. The bakery exploded in a shower of wood and debris, sending shrapnel flying through the air.

As the storm raged on, the giantess stomped through the town, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. Max watched in horror as his hometown was turned into a warzone, crushed beneath the giantess's massive feet. He knew there was nothing he could do to stop her, nothing he could do to save them. All he could do was watch and pray that he would be spared the same fate as Sarah.
