Royal Indifference
A Casual Hello, A Crushing Goodbye
You find yourself cowering on the living room rug, a microscopic intruder in the colossal world of Morgan M. Above you, she sits like a queen on her throne, wearing a radiant yellow floral dress and sheer black stockings. She doesn't seem to notice your existence as she finishes a snack, picking a crumb from her teeth. But then, her gaze drifts downward, and our hearts skip a beat. Her eyes lock onto you, and there's a pause, a moment of silence. And then, a slow, bemused smile spreads across her face.
"Oh... hello..." she says, her voice booming down like thunder. But the conversation ends there. Morgan doesn't want to chat; she wants to test her footwear. She lifts her leg, and your world is suddenly filled with the terrifying, scarred landscape of her black high-heeled shoe. The sole descends, blotting out the light, pressing you into the fibers of the carpet, grinding you under the weight of her indifference. But she isn't done playing.
She lifts her foot, leaving you dazed and gasping, only to deliver the final act. She stands and turns, smoothing her floral dress over her hips. You watch in helpless horror as she positions herself directly above you. The vast, yellow-flowered sky descends, followed by the crushing, soft weight of her body. She lowers herself fully onto the sofa, burying you deep into the cushions beneath her.
Your tiny life is extinguished with a comfortable sigh as Morgan relaxes into her seat, returning to her relaxation as if you had never existed at all. The air is thick with the scent of flowers and nylons, and the atmosphere is charged with power dynamics. It's a haunting reminder of the fragility of our existence when faced with the indifference of giants.
