Your heart thudded in your chest as she lifted you onto her soles and introduced herself as a witch.
You had never felt so small, so vulnerable. She placed one of her stinky sneakers over your head, engulfing you in her scent. She chuckled darkly, her voice echoing through the room. "Now that's what happens when you get a backbone," she growled, her voice low and threatening.
With a flick of her finger, she sent you flying towards the other sneaker. You landed with a soft thud, your tiny body pressed against the rough rubber. She chuckled again, this time more menacingly. "Don't worry, mi amigo. You'll get to spend plenty of time with your friends under my feet."
Her words sent shivers down your spine. You knew she meant every single word of it. But as you looked up at her, you couldn't help but feel a strange sense of awe mixed with fear.
