The Queen's Decree
A Stepmom's Frustration
As Queen Annellea stood over her tiny step-son, her heart pounded with a mix of anger and resentment. She'd tried to be patient, but the constant demands for attention and care had worn thin. Her gaze fell on the little figure curled up in the corner, whimpering softly as he tried to shrink even further from her towering presence.
"Enough!" she roared, her voice echoing through the dark dungeon. With a swift stride, she bent down and scooped him up in one massive hand, his tiny cries filling the air as he was lifted off the cold stone floor. The Queen's grip was like a vise, crushing him against her soft skin, and he could feel the heat of her rage radiating off of her.
"You're nothing but a burden," she hissed, her eyes flashing with fury. "A constant reminder of my husband's weakness for you."
Without another word, she turned and walked towards a gaping hole in the wall—a portal to another realm, or so it was rumored. The hole yawned before them, darkness beckoning from within.
"Mom, please!" the tiny pleaded, squirming in her grip. "I'll be good! I'll do anything!"
But it was too late. With a mighty heave, Queen Annellea hurled him into the abyss, his screams cut short as he was swallowed by darkness. And then, with a smirk curling her lips, she watched as the portal snapped shut behind him, sealing her step-son's fate.
The air crackled with power and anticipation as Queen Annellea stood tall, her chest heaving. She had finally rid herself of the pesky little creature that had plagued her for so long. With a satisfied sigh, she turned and walked away, leaving the dungeon behind. The future would be brighter without him in it, she was sure. And as for her newfound freedom... well, that was a story for another time.
