The Final Test
Ama Rio's Divine Trial
In the dimly lit room, the air was thick with anticipation. Ama Rio, the mighty goddess towering over her subjects, surveyed the remaining three hopefuls. She had grown weary of their groveling and was ready to choose her eternal servant. The stakes were high; they knew that only one could survive the day.
Jason, Adam, and his wife stood before her, nervous but determined. Ama's feet twitched impatiently as she unveiled her plan. "I seek a true believer," she boomed, her voice echoing through the chamber. "One who will praise my every move and endure any torment."
The test was simple yet deadly: guess the number of times Ama would cross her feet. As the timer began, the room fell silent. Adam's wife trembled, unsure of her answer. Jason squinted, trying to count Ama's toes. Ama Rio watched them with a cruel smile, knowing full well that this was no ordinary guessing game.
Round after round, the contestants failed miserably. Each incorrect guess brought upon more devastating consequences. Some were crushed under Ama's giantess feet, others spat out like worms. The atmosphere grew increasingly tense as only Adam remained standing.
"One last chance," Ama said, her gaze fixed on him. "Guess correctly, and you shall be my eternal servant. Fail, and you shall meet the same fate as your pathetic comrades." Her words hung heavy in the air, and Adam knew that he had to choose his answer wisely.
With a deep breath, he closed his eyes and concentrated on the goddess's feet. He could feel the heat radiating from them, sense the power that reverberated through every movement. Suddenly, he had an epiphany. Opening his eyes, he announced his guess with confidence.
The timer stopped, and Ama Rio's eyes widened in surprise. She had never met a challenger like this before. Slowly, she began to cross her feet, each time more deliberately than the last. The tension in the room was palpable as everyone waited with bated breath for the final count.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Ama stopped. "And your answer?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Adam stood tall, his heart pounding in his chest. "I believe you have crossed your feet 108 times, my goddess," he said, bowing his head respectfully.
Ama's eyes lit up with admiration. This was a worshipper after her own heart. She smiled down at him, and for a moment, he could see the warmth in her gaze. "Very well," she said, her voice softening. "You have proven yourself worthy. From this day forward, you shall be my eternal servant, praising my every move and enduring any torment I see fit to bestow upon you."
And so, Ama Rio found her true believer in Adam. Together, they would rule over the mortal realm, their bond forged in fire and devotion. As for Jason and Adam's wife, their remains lay scattered across the chamber floor, forgotten by all but the memories of their brief existence.
