Lexie dropped him onto the floor and watched with satisfaction as he scrambled away from her. She leaned down, towering over him, and grinned maliciously. "That's what you get for cheating on me, you pathetic excuse for a man."
Nikkie's Protection
Meanwhile, Nikkie sat cross-legged on the bed, watching over John with a mixture of concern and affection. She sensed the tension building outside her door and knew that Lexie was preparing to teach her ex a lesson. Nikkie was determined to protect John, even if it meant facing off against Lexie herself.

Nikkie stepped forward, placing herself between Lexie and John. "You can't do this," she said, her voice shaking. "He's just a little boy."
Lexie laughed bitterly. "He's not a boy," she spat. "He's a man who needs to learn his place."
