Angie And Lena

Lena was strolling down the street, minding her own business, when she felt something tug at her jeans. She looked down to see a small child, not more than six years old, tugging on her pant leg. She sighed, knowing this was going to be a long day when she noticed the child was holding a note. Curiosity getting the better of her, she crouched down to the child's level and took the note from his tiny hand.

The note read: "Please help me find my mommy. She's been taken by a giant woman." Lena's eyes widened in shock as she read the words, a chill running down her spine. Giant woman? That couldn't be good.

She stood up and looked around, trying to figure out what to do. Then, she remembered a friend of hers who loved solving mysteries and may be able to help. She quickly dialed Angie's number on her phone and waited anxiously for her to pick up.

"Hello?" Angie answered after a few rings.

"Angie, it's Lena. Listen, I need your help with something really weird," Lena said, her voice shaking slightly.

"What's going on?" Angie asked, instantly concerned.

"I just got a note from a little boy. He says his mommy was taken by a giant woman," Lena explained, still trying to process the information herself.

"A giant woman? Are you serious?" Angie asked, her voice full of disbelief.

"I'm serious. The boy even drew a picture of the woman on the note. Do you think this could be something you'd be interested in investigating?" Lena asked, hoping Angie would say yes.

"Of course! I love mysteries like this. Where are you now?" Angie asked eagerly.

"I'm still on the street where the boy gave me the note. I haven't seen or heard anything unusual," Lena replied.

"Okay, I'm on my way. Stay put and don't let anyone disturb the crime scene," Angie said before hanging up.

Lena looked down at the note and the drawing of the giant woman, feeling a mixture of fear and curiosity. She couldn't help but wonder what Angie would make of all this. Minutes later, she saw a familiar figure walking towards her - Angie, looking as professional as ever in her detective outfit.

"What do you have for me?" Angie asked, her eyes glinting with excitement.

Lena handed over the note and the drawing, watching as Angie examined them closely. She could see the wheels turning in her friend's head as she studied the drawing, her brows knitted together in concentration.

"This is... unusual, to say the least," Angie muttered, more to herself than to Lena. "I'll need to do some research on this. Maybe there's something in the old myths or legends about giant women."

"What about the boy? Shouldn't we try and find his mommy?" Lena asked, feeling a twinge of guilt for being so focused on the mystery.

"Yes, of course. Let's go see if we can track down the boy and get more information," Angie said, already heading towards the nearest park.

They walked for several minutes until they spotted the little boy sitting on a swing, his face still etched with worry. When he saw them, he ran over and grabbed Lena's hand, looking up at her with big, tear-filled eyes.

"Do you remember what your mommy looks like?" Angie asked gently, crouching down to the boy's level.

The boy nodded, sniffing back his tears as he tried to describe the woman who had taken his mommy. He said she was tall, really tall, with long blonde hair and big, strong arms. Her body was covered in hair, like she was a beast from a fairy tale.

Lena felt a chill run down her spine at the boy's description, but Angie was already on her feet, a determined look on her face.

"Let's go find your mommy," she said, her voice firm and reassuring. And with that, they set off into the unknown, following the boy's directions and hoping against hope that they would find the woman responsible for this terrible act.

As they journeyed deeper into the unknown, the tension in the air thickened. Every step brought them closer to the truth, but also closer to danger. They could hear the sound of rustling leaves and the snap of twigs breaking underfoot, echoing through the dense forest.

Suddenly, the boy let out a yelp, pointing at a clearing up ahead. There, standing in the center of the clearing, was the giant woman. She towered over them, at least twenty feet tall, her muscled form casting long shadows across the ground. Her eyes were cold and emotionless, like those of a predator stalking its prey.

For a moment, Lena and Angie were frozen in fear, unable to move. It was the little boy who broke the silence, running towards the woman and wrapping his arms around her massive leg. The woman looked down at the boy, her expression softening slightly.

"What do you want from me, little one?" she rumbled, her voice deep and resonant.

The boy pointed at Angie and Lena, tears streaming down his face. "Those women took my mommy. I want her back!"

The giant woman sighed, shaking her head slowly. "I didn't mean to scare you, little one. But your mommy is gone forever. She chose to leave this world behind, to become part of something greater."

Lena gasped, realizing the implications of the woman's words. Was this some kind of cult or supernatural ritual? She looked at Angie, seeing the same realization dawn on her friend's face.

"We need to talk," Lena said, taking a step forward. "About what happened to your mother and these other women."

The giant woman looked at them for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then, she nodded slowly. "Follow me," she said, turning around and leading them deeper into the forest.

As they walked, Lena and Angie exchanged worried glances. This situation was more complicated than they ever could have imagined. But they had come this far, and they weren't about to give up on finding the truth. Not now, not ever.
