Meek to Myth Episode 1: The Awakening

Veronica was a meek and timid youthful woman, always shrinking in the presence of others. She had never quite fit in with her peers, preferring the solitude of her books to the chaos of social gatherings. But one fateful night, as she lay sleeping in her cozy little apartment, she found herself being drawn into a fantastical world unlike anything she could have ever imagined.

As she drifted deeper into slumber, Veronica's dreams took on a life of their own. She found herself transported to a lush, verdant forest, the trees towering overhead like skyscrapers. The sun shone down through the leaves, casting dappled shadows over the ground beneath her feet. But as she took a step forward, she realized something was amiss - she was growing, her body swelling almost impossibly.

Panic set in as she watched her fingertips lengthen, her toes stretch, her limbs elongating with each passing moment. Her clothes tore under the strain, revealing a new, goddess-like form. She gasped, taking in her reflection in a nearby pond - towering at least forty feet tall, her skin gleaming like polished marble, and her newfound strength causing the ground beneath her to tremble.

As she stumbled through the forest, trying to come to terms with her newfound power, she caught sight of a small village in the distance. Intrigued, she made her way towards it, stopping to watch as the inhabitants scurried about their daily lives. Their voices rose up in a cacophony, calling out to one another, unaware of the giantess looming over them.

With a sudden realization, Veronica realized that she could silence them if she wished. The thought terrified her, but at the same time, it filled her with a strange sense of empowerment. As she stood there, debating with herself, a youthful boy came running out of one of the houses, pointing up at her in awe. She could see the wonder in his eyes, and for a brief moment, she felt a connection to him that she hadn't known existed.

With a deep breath, she turned and continued on her way, leaving the village behind. But the memory of that moment stayed with her, a seed beginning to sprout within her mind. As she walked through the forest, she couldn't help but feel like something important was happening, like she was on the cusp of discovering her true purpose.
