In the midst of a particularly vivid dream, Alex woke up suddenly, his heart pounding and his body covered in a light sheen of sweat. He took a moment to compose himself before turning his head to glance at the alarm clock on his bedside table. It was still early, only 4:30 AM, but he couldn't fall back asleep. She examined him closely, her dark eyes boring into his soul as he found himself helplessly drawn to her. And then, just as suddenly as she had appeared, she disappeared, and Alex was left standing there alone on the sidewalk, his heart pounding and his body tingling with desire.
Shaking his head, he set the glass down on the counter and made his way back to his bedroom. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to this dream, something he was supposed to understand or remember. As he lay back down on his bed, he closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind, hoping that the rest of his dreams would offer some clue as to what had happened.
Hours later, as the sun began to rise, Alex woke up again, this time feeling strangely satisfied and at peace. He knew that whatever had happened in his dream, it had left a powerful impression on him, one that he couldn't quite ignore. He felt a strange pull towards the window, as if he needed to see the sky one last time before going back to sleep. As he pulled back the curtains and gazed out at the morning sky, he couldn't help but wonder - was it possible that his dream could come true?
