As the sun began to set over the small town, casting long shadows across the quiet streets, a youthful woman named Amber stepped out of her front door and into the cool evening air. She was wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt and short shorts, her toned legs bare beneath the light fabric. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail, revealing a pair of delicate piercings above her ears.
Amber closed the door behind her, locking up before setting off on her evening jog. It was something she did every day, rain or shine, and tonight was no different. She set off at a brisk pace, her sneakers slapping against the pavement as she ran.
It didn't take long for Amber's heart rate to pick up, her breathing coming in short, quick gasps. She pushed herself harder, determined to get the most out of her workout. Just as she was about to collapse, the sensation stopped. Amber gasped for air, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath.
